Position Overview:

  1. Information Security Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Team CW Position


Responsibilities include:

  • Support the DLP Team with various tasks that are part of establishing a DLP Program and remediation of existing audit issue
  • Define new and enhance existing DLP policies/rules within in-scope DLP tools in accordance with the change control process
  • Work in conjunction with the DLP Team members to understand business and Governance requirements to be defined as DLP policies
  • Tune false positives on a regular basis and when requested by the Monitoring team
  • Provide support in defining and building upon DLP metrics and reporting 
  • Provide support in documenting DLP processes/procedures to meet the objectives detailed in the DLP Charter and in alignment with objectives of the DLP Program  
  • Represent the DLP Team in discussions with other Information Security stakeholders to determine impact on the DLP process where required 
  • Support remediation of DLP process and technology gaps identified from various sources as part of the DLP Program establishment effort   
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors to formulate DLP solutions for Freddie Mac in our rapidly changing technology landscape 


Preferred or Nice to have Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience working on DLP tools such as Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, Zscaler, and CASB solutions


Basic Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of related experience
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the field of Information Security/Information Technology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both Business/Management and Technical/Engineering resources
  • Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, persuasively and credibly with internal management and external senior level oversight entities
