IT Support Specialist III

Location: Washington, DC


The client is seeking an IT Support Specialist III (with Training Development Emphasis) to utilize broad expertise or unique knowledge in leading and performing advanced assignments related to planning and conducting highly complex training programs that assist employees in gaining technology skills and subject matter knowledge specifically related to job requirements.

Candidate will support the design, development, and implementation of WEB BASED training and creation of related job aids to develop new courseware and enhancements to existing training program. Experience with using a rapid delivery tool such as Articulate or Camtasia is required and Functional knowledge of Program Portfolio Management tools such as Enterprise 1 and Project Server are helpful, but not necessary.

The IT Support Specialist provides end-user support, which may include providing systems administration assistance, coordinating stakeholder discussions, updating user documentation or design and delivery of eLearning training. Responsibilities may also include providing instructor led training to customers in routine program operation Analyze and resolve technical problems raised by internal customers via phone, web chat or email. Candidate must have fully developed business and technical acumen.

    • Education Level (Required) Bachelor Degree or Equivalent   
    • Areas of Study (Preferred)  Project Management, Business or Finance Experience (Primary)  
    • 5-7 years of related experience.
    • Strong Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
