Information Security Analyst Senior

Location: McLean, VA


This position is responsible for maintaining existing control framework, ensuring timely and accurate execution and evidence of controls. Assessment of risks to make new control recommendations, review of audit recommendations to develop remediation plans. Provide guidance, evaluation, and advocacy on audit inquiries. Required to provide complete and accurate metrics, including current state to target metrics. This will also require a detailed level of data analytics. Applies expertise to develop and implement new and updated business processes for all IAM activities including process development and documentation activities related to Identity Lifecycle Management, Credential Management, Privileged Access Management, and Authorization Lifecycle Management.  This candidate must be able to pivot priorities on demand and balance priorities appropriately. Candidate must be extremely self-sufficient and work to solution problems with little to no oversight.

Required skills:
• Familiarity with at least one of the big 3 cloud platforms
• Knowledge of security frameworks, (i.e. NIST, ISO)
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including directors, managers, system engineers, and end users
• Ability to develop and clearly articulate business objectives and outcomes to key business stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively, establish credibility, and working relationship within division and within the corporation, with stakeholders and partners to ensure a shared outcome
• Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with a broad range of peoples and roles

Qualifications:
• 5-7 years’ related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge and experience with business analysis processes, techniques, and tools (e.g., voice of customer, customer journey, process flow diagrams, decision trees, Visio, PowerPoint, formal documentation, etc.) preferably in the Financial Services Industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including directors, managers, system engineers, and end users
• Ability to develop and clearly articulate business objectives and outcomes to key business stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively, establish credibility, and working relationship within division and within the corporation, with stakeholders and partners to ensure a shared outcome

Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in science, technology, business, or communications 
• Confident presence and ability to influence and advise key stakeholders, including members of the IAM leadership team
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint
• Familiarity and comfort with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and associated best practices
