Information Security Analyst Senior

Location: McLean, VA


This position is responsible for assisting with the IAM Transformation, including training the enterprise on new IAM processes and solutions, presenting new solutions to our business lines as well as get key stakeholder buy in. This will require a detailed level of data analytics, expertise with development and implementation of new and updated business processes.  This candidate must be able to pivot priorities on demand and balance priorities appropriately. Candidate must be extremely self-sufficient and work to solution problems with little to no oversight and must be comfortable presenting to all layers of management. This position will also require evening and weekend work.


Required skills:
• Familiarity with at least one of the big 3 cloud platforms
• Knowledge of security frameworks, (i.e. NIST, ISO)
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including directors, managers, system engineers, and end users
• Ability to develop and clearly articulate business objectives and outcomes to key business stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively, establish credibility, and working relationship within division and within the corporation, with stakeholders and partners to ensure a shared outcome
• Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with a broad range of peoples and roles
• Knowledge of systems development lifecycle (SDLC)


Qualifications:
• 5-7 years’ related experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge and experience with business analysis processes, techniques, and tools (e.g., voice of customer, customer journey, process flow diagrams, decision trees, Visio, PowerPoint, formal documentation, etc.) preferably in the Financial Services Industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including directors, managers, system engineers, and end users
• Ability to develop and clearly articulate business objectives and outcomes to key business stakeholders

Preferred Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in science, technology, business, or communications 
• Confident presence and ability to influence and advise key stakeholders, including members of the IAM leadership team
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Word, Visio, PowerPoint
• Familiarity and comfort with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and associated best practices
