IT Process Improvement Analyst / Project Manager

Location: McLean, VA

Technical Must Haves: Hands-on experience with project management, having supported the buildout of new processes and functions. Strong preference for individuals with IT risk management background, specifically 3rd party risk.

IT Process Improvement Analyst / Project Manager Senior
All candidates must be either a US Citizen or hold a Permanent Resident Card as well as be a direct W-2 employee to our vendors.

To support compliance with divisional policies and associated procedures, IT Third Party Risk is seeking a process improvement analyst to support the operationalization of newly-defined procedures. This resource will also be responsible for associated project management activities in ensuring supporting procedures are documented and tasks associated with communication of roles and responsibilities, training, and issue management if needed.

• Analyze current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for improvements
• Provides support in the development and implementation of process, risk and control mapping and support of improvement initiatives and in problem solving using continuous process improvement toolset
• Develop and manage a project plan of deliverables associated with the creation and operationalization of key processes and compliance activities
• Prioritize and implement process change requirements based on the critical project needs
• Develops and delivers training material for lean methodology and tools
• Inform respective teams on process improvement and re-engineering strategies
• Update and maintain documentation on process improvements and process performance
• This function will support IT’s Third Party Risk function, so we are seeking:
o Someone with 3rd party knowledge, risk background
o Someone with experience implementing processes to support 3rd party
