8075 - Collaboration Engineer
Location: Reston, VA
This role will help ensure the 24/7 stable operation of the mobility environment and provide Tier3 trouble resolution and administering of the BES12/Good Dynamics and WebEx solutions. We are looking for an Operational Subject Matter Expert who takes a pro-active posture to solving problems before they happen. This candidate will be intrinsic in the planning, designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all mobility products - both servers and hand-held devices.
•Maintain and support of the existing and future conferencing, electronic fax, mobile systems (currently BlackBerry 5 and Good). Current messaging environment comprises of Exchange & Domino (the incumbent will not be directly responsible for the email systems).
•Resolve complex routing problems in a heterogeneous mobile messaging environment.
•Lead projects, software upgrades, architecture changes and implementation of new components within the environment.
•Troubleshoot mobile Server issues, working in collaboration with other relevant IT areas and vendor support towards a quick and effective resolution.
•Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly operational checklists and operational reports.
•Resolve Tier-2 and Tier-3 tickets related to collaboration systems.
•Help establish and maintain Tier 1 / 2 / 3 support processes, SOPs, knowledgebase, etc.
•NOT LOOKING FOR A DEVICE ADMIN OR MOBILITY PROJECT MANAGER. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN IMPLEMENTING SERVER BASED ENTERPRISE SOLUTIONS
•Mobility Solutions - Blackberry, Good Technologies
•Demonstrated expertise of Active Directory & GPOs
•iOS versions 7 - 10
•Android versions Ice Cream, Jelly Bean, Kit-Kat, Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat
•Network and Internet concepts (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, LDAP, etc.)
•6-8 years’ experience as an engineer/administrator of communications and collaboration systems in a corporate environment with emphasis on high-availability and uninterrupted 24/7 services.
•Experience with Active Directory & GPOs
•Effective analytical, planning, organizational, problem determination and resolution process skills.
•Familiar with diagnosing issues related to Networking components (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP, LDAP, etc.)
•Administration and support of Cisco WebEx enterprise cloud service, develop procedures, and maintain any infrastructure
•General knowledge of networking concepts and security practices
•Understanding of IT compliance, governance, and release/change management procedures
•Good working knowledge of ITIL v3
