Marketing/Communications Specialist III

Location: Reston, VA


The client is seeking a Marketing/Communications Specialist II to develop core messaging to ensure organizational consistency and advance stakeholder progression to drive awareness, advocacy and adoption of business objectives. A Marketing/Communications Specialist is responsible for the effective delivery of information and corporate communications to employees and stakeholders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Fannie Mae’s products in the market

Ability to communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales and account teams and develop tools that support the selling process of Fannie Mae’s products

Vast cross-group collaboration and people skills, including leading cross functional teams to ensure successful product launch in market

Understanding of product development lifecycles to be able plan go-to-market strategy and launch plans in conjunction with product development

Develop success metrics for campaign success measurements (e.g., KPIs) and be able to analyze and report campaign progress

Ability to think outside the box to provide a strategic, yet creative solution, to solve customer problems

Team player with a can-do attitude and ready to operate in an ever changing environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

 

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training required.

• 4+ years related experience required.
