BusOps Analyst Professional

Location: McLean, VA

Manages assigned product(s), typically within a single business line. Responsible for design and development, as well as business requirements gathering, creation and working with IT. Supports the development of project plans, tracks objectives, strategies, and tactics to meet goals. Monitors action items, tracks project performance in support of Project Manager.  Full use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems. Works under normal supervision. Follows established directions. Work is reviewed for accuracy of technical analysis and overall adequacy. Primarily intra-organizational with occasional inter-organizational and external customer contacts on routine matters. Typically has 2 - 5 years related experience.

The Business Analyst Professional Role will be part of the Strategic Delivery in Single Family.   Strategic Delivery is responsible for identifying, evaluating, designing, developing, and implementing new or enhanced offerings, concepts, and business or technology projects initiated by the Single Family Division.   Strategic Delivery engages business areas across the company including technology to identify and resolve impacts related to the projects being implemented. 

Responsibilities include:
•Working on multi-disciplinary projects with a strong customer focus
•Business Requirements elicitation and documentation
•Meeting facilitation including agendas, meeting minute preparation and meeting presentation development
•Business process modeling and data analysis including development of business process flows and procedures
•Supporting Issue and risk tracking and resolution
•Documentation and execution of User Acceptance Testing for business applications.

Basic Requirements 
•2-5 years of experience in a business analysis role (business requirements elicitation and development, business process redesign , data analysis, impact assessment  and business application testing) 
•Strong interpersonal skills
•Proven ability to learn new business concepts and skills quickly 
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint 
•Self-starter / independent thinker: demonstrated ambition to take on new roles with increasing responsibility with limited guidance and direction from management Experience working on change management projects especially projects involving changes to business applications.
•Experience in the financial services industry 
•Undergraduate degree
