Administrative Associate

Location: McLean, VA


As an Administrative Assistant at Freddie Mac, you will have the unique opportunity to provide administrative support to the Internal Audit Division in a fast-paced corporate environment.  The role will have regular interaction with senior levels of management and other executive coordinators within the company.

Responsibilities include:

•    Scheduling meetings/coordinate reservations for conference rooms
•    Perform basic clerical duties
•    Provide administrative support for a group of individuals, including meeting coordination, transaction processing and associated data entry
•    Monitor emails, voicemail messages, and escalate critical matters as appropriate
•    Ordering and maintaining inventory
•    Place Service Requests, when necessary for repairs or maintenance
•    Ability to work a regular Monday through Friday schedule of 40 hours per week (hours 8:30am to 5:30pm).  Some flexibility required during peak audit report issuance.
•    Assist administrative staff with other responsibilities
•    Research and book travel
•    Prepare and review expense reports

Qualifications
•    At least one year of office experience and three years of customer service experience
•    High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
•    Intermediate level knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word & Excel and Outlook
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
