Project Manager Senior (L&D Program Manager)

Position Overview:
The Learning and Development Group sits within Freddie Mac’s Single Family Division.  The Program Manager role serves primarily to lead, oversee, and coordinate several learning and development projects, including both curriculum development and training events/programs.  The position reports to the Director of SF Learning and Development.  
Specifically, we are seeking a candidate with a depth of experience and proven success in driving, managing, and delivering learning and development solutions working within medium to large organizations.  A foundational interest in and motivation to own, innovate, and deliver on training-related programs to drive positive personal and organizational development outcomes is critical.  In addition, the Program Manager will work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.  Some of the functions managed by the Program Manager are recurring monthly activities, while others are ad hoc; essentially all are time sensitive and require collaboration with the SF Office of the Client stakeholders and other customer-facing business partners.
Responsibilities
Lead, coordinate, and/or execute on a series of L&D programs/projects focused on creating or improving training resources for the SF division.
Oversee project management efforts on key assignments, driving a cooperative effort among members of a project team focused on the delivery of learning and development capabilities and related tactics.
Provide knowledge, insight, and expertise on learning and development best practices, processes, and professional benchmarks of excellence.
Support the development, creation, and/or production of learning content that could include digital authoring tools, video production, webinar or podcast platforms, etc.
Effectively partner with and build productive, collaborative relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders who serve as contributors, subject matter experts to various projects, and L&D team members.
Create and maintain project deliverables, budget, and other project needs to meet target timelines.
Report and present on the progress of key initiatives, both in documentation and in progress meetings.

Qualifications
8-10 years of progressive and successful program management experience, ideally in the learning and development arena 
Significant experience managing L&D programs in medium to large organizations and/or consulting work, with strong project management and execution capabilities
Knowledge of training best practices related to program creation and execution, technology platforms, and/or instructional design.
Bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent work experience
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Experience with internal-facing projects and/or other project/customer experience related work
Superior communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills
Superior Microsoft suite (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word) experience
Preference for successful work experience in the Financial Services industry
Preference for successful work experience as a training manager, training project manager and/or training facilitator and content development professional.
Preference for experience as or knowledge of instructional design practices.
Preference for experience with L&D platforms and technologies (LM’s, CRM’s, content authoring tools, webinar platforms, etc.) or other related technology competencies/proficiencies.
