Marketing Manager III

Location: Washington, DC


The client is seeking a Marketing Manager III to plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns; develop messaging, content, and collateral; and track timelines and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Capital Markets and/or mortgage lender initiatives, simplifying complex policy language, developing customer engagement strategy, and managing development of marketing campaigns that reinforce business priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Foster collaboration and build relationships with other marketing and communication teammates, customer account teams, internal stakeholders, and agency partners to solidify campaign, deliverables, and key milestones.

  • Support cross-functional team with strategic prioritization of marketing projects and initiatives, balancing demand and capacity constraints.

  • Implement marketing strategy and execute marketing plans for existing products, consolidating feedback from internal stakeholder, legal, and regulatory reviews.

  • Manage development of simplified messaging to distill complex policy changes, content and other messaging across internal and external touch points.

  • Highlight progress and impediments of high-priority marketing initiatives.

 

Skills:

  • Successful track record of relevant marketing experience, ideally within capital markets, mortgage industry or B2B financial services.

  • Experience developing marketing plans and campaigns and reporting on the results.

  • Detail oriented with proven track record of problem-solving skills; ability to work autonomously and organize and execute multiple projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting information to large groups and advanced storytelling skills in power point.

  • Experience managing agency partners and comfortable encouraging creative teams – designers, copywriters, account team - for the best possible outcome.

  • Proficiency with computer software, such as Workfront, Salesforce, LeanKit, Seismic, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point), Confluence, etc.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, or related field.

  • 6+ years related experience

  • Experience supporting marketing teams in a large, highly matrixed organization.

  • Capital Markets, B2B financial services or mortgage industry experience preferred.

  • Proficient with digital marketing.
