Senior ServiceNow Administrator - Bethesda, MD

Location: Bethesda, MD


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform in multiple medium to large enterprise environments

• 5+ years of experience with application development experience (SDLC, Agile Scrum, etc.)

• 5+ years of experience with technologies such as JavaScript, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP

• Solid understanding of web services (REST/SOAP/WSDL/XML), and HTTP Request Methods

• Knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP integration with Service Now

• Possess an in-depth working knowledge of the technical implementation of various ServiceNow modules such as Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, Configuration Management, Reporting, LDAP, SSO, MID Server, and Inbound/Outbound emails.

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience (either system administration, User Interface modification or architectural knowledge) meeting client requirements and performing system tuning

• At least 5 years experience in programming JavaScript or other related technologies

• Experienced in leading other technical team members to a desired solution—requirements review, code reviews, support and coaching

• Thorough knowledge in SaaS deployments and supporting architecture

Experience with the configuration of applications, modules, user

 

Qualified candidate should be able to have knowledge of the following:

 

Able to collaborate and partner with the cross-divisional groups, teams, and stakeholders to help provide appropriate solutions in ServiceNow

• Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with customers, and analyze, document, and help translate them into technical requirements for the development team

• Lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions to design and solution for the collected business requirements

• Develop test suits for the requirements being developed, and help developers by testing and providing feedback before the formal testing begins

• Document user/help guides, knowledge articles, etc. for the solutions offered to the customers

• Support grooming, documenting, and managing agile backlog stories, epics, sprints, and releases in ServiceNow

• Provide operational support and perform shakeout after the rollout in production

• Able to run daily scrums, take notes, and follow-up with stakeholders for any needed clarification on the requirements or open issues
