Marketing/Communications Specialist III
Location: Washington, DC
A position with the Enterprise Innovation Team whose objective is to rapidly invent, build, and incubate new capabilities, services, and business models from ideas sourced enterprise-wide that leverage clients's assets and domain expertise to re-imagine our core business and uphold our role in the housing system. This position will be responsible for: - Gathering production, statistical data, and inputs from staff to prepare analyses and reports to communicate to executive management, clients, and stakeholders. - Ensuring reports and presentations are clear and concise while aligning to overarching strategic objectives of EIT and Client - Using knowledge of corporate procedures to compile, consolidate, and analyze information to set and maintain standards and policies for staff. - Ensuring that documentation and process flows are complete, current, and accessible. - Coordinating efforts or projects with other areas such as Single-Family, Multifamily, Accounting, and IT. - Recommending alternatives to ensure positive outcomes. Communications Specialist is responsible for assessing the client’s business needs and design and execute timely and effective communications strategies to help meet those needs and the needs of the company. The person should be able to: · Develop and implement communications plans that outline goals, key audiences and stakeholders, objectives, recommended tactics and comm. channels, metrics for success, and timelines for key initiatives. · Craft a variety of executive, company-wide, and intradepartmental communications materials, such as presentations, talking points, employee memos, Q&As, newsletters, Intranet and web sites, brochures, reference materials, common templates, etc. · Establish and apply best practices and consistent themes/tactics, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities, brand, and messaging.· Provide communications counsel to officers and senior management and develop their executive speeches, talking points, presentations, memos to staff, etc.
