QA Testing Analyst III (TOSCA) - Bethesda

Location: Bethesda, MD


  • Test Automation scripts will be built in TOSCA
  • Test Scenarios and Test Cases are managed in JIRA and ZEPHYR and are linked to user stories
  • Test planning and identification of Test Data will be determined in the same sprint of development stories
  • Test Cases will be built in the same sprint of development stories
  • Test Scripts will be built within the same sprint as development stories
  • Test Scripts will be executed in the same sprint as following completion of development stories and code available to test
  • Defects are logged in JIRA and are linked to the user stories to allow a holistic view of development progress
  • A Test Report will be published at the end of each Sprint
  • Non-Functional Testing - Performance Testing
  • Test Status Reporting
  • Defect Management Analysis and reporting
  • Triage of defects identified

 

Functional End to End / Integration Tester

  • Minimum 8 years of related work experience with Quality assurance
  • Experience with automation using in TOSCA – must have!
  • Participate in SDLC activities, such as design sessions and requirements review meetings
  • Provide detailed test effort estimates (LOE)
  • Prepare test data, execute functional and SIT tests and data validation controls
  • Identify and track defects through to resolution
  • Work with both internal and external teams to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide technical leadership, mentor other team members, and train others as needed
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities and takes ownership of assigned projects
  • Skilled in writing detailed Test Scenarios and Test Cases
  • Proficient in writing detailed Test Approach documents
  • Capable of conducting meetings, defect triages, and test artifacts reviews
  • Coordinate and support Integration efforts, as needed
  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodology, project delivery methods, tools, and concepts.
  • Experience with AWS technologies including containers and messaging
  • Demonstrated functional test experience, including test analysis
  • Thorough understanding of QA Processes methodology analytical and operational experience
  • Working knowledge of Jira and Zephyr
  • Maintain the test case repository and traceability
  • Good understanding of RDBMS concepts, especially with Oracle database environment is must
  • Comfortable writing SQL queries
  • At least 4 years’ Experience with Unix
  • Securitization background not required but considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Mortgage Industry data standards (e.g.: MISMO, UDP)
  • Strong communication and team skills.
